HOW WE GOT Our Name

Hunter Capital Management is named after the matriarch of the Perkins family, Dorothy Hunter. While the Perkins boys learned the value of investing from their father, Harry, who worked for over 40 years at Marshall Fields, they learned the importance of strong long-term relationships, honesty, and care for others from their mother Dorothy.

Hunter Capital’s mission is to combine a focus on investing success with the values of honesty, integrity, commitment to community, and long-term relationships instilled in them by their mother.
